As climate change intensifies, adapting water management strategies is crucial. On June 27 ARSINOE hosted Seminar #7, titled “The Future of Water: A Water Sector Approach for Building Resilience in a Changing Climate,” now available on YouTube.

The seminar, held online from 11:00 to 12:30 CET, explored sustainable solutions in policy, technology, and community engagement to build resilience amid climatic uncertainties. Organized with TRANSFORMAR, IMPETUS, and REGILIENCE, it addressed current challenges, spotlighted technological breakthroughs, and fostered collaboration for robust water management.

Chaired by Richard Elelman, Head of Politics at Eurecat, the seminar featured experts discussing the essential role of water in ecological, economic, and social well-being. Elelman emphasized citizen engagement and the impact of climate change on migration, gender equality, conflict, and health. He highlighted the ‘CASSANDRA’ initiative’s four critical factors: Data to Action, Source to Sea, WEFE+H Nexus, and active citizen engagement.
