On September 23-24, 2024, Professor Chrysi Laspidou, Vice Rector of the University of Thessaly, Chair of NexusNet Cost Action, and ARSINOE Project Coordinator, represented the ARSINOE project at the Nexus Excellentia Programme held at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Hosted by NexusNet Grant Holder Manager Professor Giannis Adamos, the event convened young researchers from across Europe, each focused on sustainable solutions within the Water-Energy-Food Nexus.
The ARSINOE project’s approach, which integrates social innovation with technical expertise, reflects a new paradigm in climate resilience—one that values interconnected, systemic solutions for adapting to today’s climate realities. Joined by other EU projects, including RETOUCH NEXUS, BIONEXT, Natalie, CHOICE, NEXOGENESIS, and REXUS, the event emphasized the necessity of collaborative approaches to address the shared challenges of climate adaptation.
