ARSINOE was in the spotlight at this year’s European Climate Pact Annual Event – Together in Action!, with Marco Dettori (AGRIS) presenting the project’s key results during a dedicated session on Adaptation to Climate Change, Preparedness, and Resilience.

Organised as part of the European Commission’s efforts under the European Green Deal and Mission Adaptation, the session explored the critical role of stakeholder and citizen engagement in shaping and implementing effective climate adaptation strategies.

Marco Dettori joined other Mission Adaptation projects in showcasing practical, replicable lessons and experiences from the field. He presented how ARSINOE engages local stakeholders through co-creation processes and living labs to develop robust, region-specific solutions for climate resilience. The project’s integrated approach to innovation, system thinking, and multi-sectoral collaboration was highlighted as a best practice in regional climate adaptation.

Session Objectives:

  • Equip participants with practical tools, insights, and inspiration to mobilise communities and stakeholders in their own regions.
  • Showcase successful examples of stakeholder and citizen engagement in adaptation planning.
  • Facilitate knowledge-sharing and discussions to drive innovative, people-powered climate solutions.

Throughout the two-day hybrid event, participants were able to explore interactive exhibitions in the Climate Action Village, attend livestreamed panels, and connect with Ambassadors and Partners leading real-world change.
