On May 31st, postgraduate students from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) had a unique educational experience at Prespa Lake National Park, as part of ARSINOE Case Study #6 and Case Study #4. Led by Professors Nicos Theodossiou and Zisis Mallios, the students from the “Protection of the Environment and Sustainable Development” program learned about the lake’s ecosystem and the critical challenges in achieving climate resilience.

The visit highlighted the efforts of the ARSINOE_EU project to address these challenges. NECCA members from the ARSINOE_EU Ohrid/Prespa lakes shared insights on the steps needed to transform the region into a climate-resilient area. This educational trip underscored the importance of integrated approaches to environmental protection and sustainable development.
