The high-level event on Civic Engagement in EU Missions was organised by the French presidency on the 21st of March, in Paris. ARSINOE project was briefly introduced with three other EU Green Deal projects during the session ”Stakeholder and citizen engagement in TransformAr and other EU Green Deal projects”.
The project’s activities related to stakeholder and citizen engagement were:
- To engage citizens in the 9 case studies to address interdependencies of systems, challenges and design solutions.
- To organize local BioBlitz in Athens (second half of 2022) to report observations of urban biodiversity (in particular urban trees).
- The local BioBlitz aims to consolidate the community of practice and provide the first participatory inputs for the Athens case study.
The event was a good opportunity to promote ARSINOE’s activities as well as to exchange with representatives from the European Commission, researchers and NGOs.
